GATE Chemical Engineering Papers
The GATE Chemical Engineering Paper is a 100 mark paper within total time duration of 3 hours. All the questions are from the syllabus itself. There are a total of 60 questions in the paper. The first twenty questions in the paper carry one mark each and the other 40 questions carry two marks each.
There is negative marking on the paper. Each wrong answer form the first twenty questions the student loses half mark and for each wrong answer from question 21 to 60 the student loses two third of marks. Every unanswered question carries zero marks. There is rough sheet provided at the end of the question paper itself to do any additional calculations if required.
The candidate is expected to answer all questions in the paper. Make sure to practice a lot at the time of preparation to thinking fast as this paper is a speed and accuracy test. Make sure to read and follow all the instructions given in the question paper properly. Also answer all the questions in the separate answer sheet provided to you. Remember to mark only one answer for each question as there is only a single correct response.
