The BLDE Undergraduate Entrance Test entrance exam is carried out by the BLDE University for the admission of candidates into the MBBS. The BLDE University is situated in Karnataka and it was established in 1910. There are more than 70 colleges that are affiliated with the BLDE association. The BLDE is a deemed university and it is one of the leading institutes in medical education across India. Every year large number of candidates appears for this exam. The candidates who seek to appear for this exam should have done their higher secondary or equivalent exam from a recognized board or university. They ought to have minimum score of 50 percent in physics and chemistry in addition to biology. Students who are in their final year can also write the exam.

Structure of the exam

The entrance exam consists of 180 objective type questions. The period of this exam will be of 3 hours. The questions will comprise of topics like physics as well as chemistry. Questions on biology will also be asked. Each section carries 60 questions. For each correct answer, one mark will be given. Negative marks won’t be given for incorrect answers.

Syllabus of the exam
