Goals & Objectives of the college:
The college was mainly established with the objective of offering higher education to the women belonging to the backward region of Bhagalpur and the nearing districts in the state of Jharkhand. It also aims at improving the status of the women by offering them different types of training in computing & beautification, debate, cultural activities, sports, etc… and by offering quality education.
How to apply?
For the degree courses offered, the college selects students based on the merit secured by them in the higher secondary examination. Candidates can apply to the college for admission by obtaining the application form from the campus of the college or they can also get the form through post by sending a demand draft for an amount of Rs.200 in favor of the principal. Application can also be downloaded from the website of the college by drawing a demand draft for the aforesaid amount.
College Library:
The library at S.M. College has a capacity to accommodate 25 students in the reading room and it has a collection of more than 65000 books and 15 journals.
