Eligibility for admission:
For the Bachelor of Arts, Commerce, Science and vocational courses, candidates must have completed their higher secondary examination with not less than 45% of marks. For the Bachelor of Education course, candidates must have completed their degree course in any stream with not less than 45% of marks.
Admission Procedure:
Admission to the general degree courses offered by Patna Women’s College is done purely on merit basis as per the marks secured by the students in the qualifying examination. For vocational courses, selection is done based on written test, which is followed by interview. Finally, the college prepares the list of selected candidates based on their performance both in written test and in interview. For B. Ed admission, candidates must have a valid B. Ed Entrance Test score, which is conducted by Patna University.
Educational Facilities:
Patna Women’s College includes a central library in its campus and it has a collection of over 59000 books and 75 national & international periodicals. The college has a collection of 150 computers in its computer centre to offer practical computer knowledge to the students.
