The Mphasis Company undertakes recruitment of the deserving candidates from the different Institutes across the nation. The process has simple three steps, which can be mentioned as Aptitude Test, the General Discussion Round and Personal Interview. The Aptitude Test has a maximum of one hour and five minutes as duration and carries a total of sixty questions. There is no negative marking involved during score analysis. The Written test is conducted in terms of Merit Track Group. There are four sections of the test, namely the English part, Data Sufficiency, Mathematics and C++ and Data Structure.

The First section has a total number of ten questions, the second and the third section has a total of twenty questions each. The last section has a total of ten questions. The Mathematics section may have question from subjects such as Profit and Loss, Percentage, Speed and Distance, etc. The Last section has questions from malloc & calloc as well as certain programming based questions such as output study increment operator properly, etc. The section has both subjective as well as Objective based questions. Candidates are advised to brush up with the basic prior to the exam. The result for the aptitude test is declared within a time of three to four hours.
