Sumandeep Vidyapeeth University was formed by the K.M. Shah Charitable Trust and today the university is acting as a symbol of hospitality, service and trust since it has influenced the life of a number of people. Initially, the university began with a small dental clinic with the ability to attend just two patients at a time. But, now the university has become an education hub that has got physiotherapy college, medical college and dental college under its jurisdiction. The university is offering courses under different fields of medicine like nursing, physiotherapy, pharmacy, health care management, dental surgery and para-medical courses, not only at the under graduation level, but at diploma and post graduation level as well. Two hospitals namely, Dhiraj general hospital and K.M. Shah dental hospital are functioning under the guidance of the university. The campus of the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth University is well-equipped with facilities like sports, transportation, banking, mess & canteen, hostels and learning resource center. The university is presently conducting research in 151 different fields of medicine and over 130 researches were already completed by the university. In addition to offering quality education, the university is conducting cultural and sports activities every year combining students from all the constituent colleges. The constituent colleges of the university are always maintaining a good percentage of result under the different courses offered by them. The university is offering courses like Master of Surgeon, master of medicine, post graduate diploma in different subjects, Master of Science in different fields of medicine and master of dental surgery through its constituent colleges.
