Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) was conceived in 1962, and came into existence in 1992 under the CRPF Act. The parliament enacted the ITBPF Act and framed its rules in 1994. ITBP has many functions. One of the new challenging roles for ITBP is disaster management.

ITBP has formed a National Centre for Training in Search, Rescue & Disaster response at Bhanu, Haryana for providing training to persons of ITBP and other Paramilitary/ State Police Forces. ITBP also has a training center for the Dogs at its Basic Training center located at Bhanu.

Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Force invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse).

Pay Scale – Rs. 9300 - 34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 21 yrs and the maximum age limit is 30 yrs. (Relaxable as per rules)

Educational qualification and experience – Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized Board, must have passed General Nursing and Mid-wifery examination, and must have registered with Central Nursing Council or State Nursing Council. The candidates must have 3 yrs experience as Nurse.

Selection Process:

The candidates are selected for the post through Recruitment Test that includes Physical measurement test, Physical efficiency test (PET), Written examination, Practical/ trade/ aptitude test, Interview, and Detailed medical examination.
