Karnataka Public Service Commission is basically a constitutional body which helps the state to recruit people to the various posts in the civil services. The examinations carried out by this Commission are in accordance with the rules and regulations set by the state Government of Karnataka. The questions are framed and the question paper is divided in such a manner that the student cannot afford to do selective studies.

How Many Sections Can You Expect In This Paper?

The question paper is divided into four sections such that all the questions in the first three sections are compulsory while a student can answer three out of the five questions in Section D.

Paper Pattern And Number of Questions Asked:

The 300 mark paper having four sections is very fairly divided such that the student can score good marks only if he has studies the subject on a whole. The first Section consists of four answers each containing five marks, whereas a student is to answer ten questions of ten marks each in the second Section. The third section consists of 6 questions each carrying fifteen marks whereas the longest answer is for the fourth section where one has to write a 300 word answer for a thirty mark question.

Division of Marks:

Section A comprises of a total of 20 marks and Section B carries a total of 100 marks. The other two sections, Section C and D each carry 90 marks.

How Many Hours Would You Be Given to Complete The Paper?

A student is given a maximum of three hours to answer the questions.
