Central Industrial Security Force was founded on March 10, 1969 under the Government of India. The security force actually came into existence under an act of Parliament. The headquarter of the force is located at New Delhi. The force comes under the control or supervision of the federal Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The force was started initially with a mere strength of just 2800 individuals but later on the strength of the force kept on increasing. Because of an Act of Parliament, the force was made as an armed force of the Union of India. The force is determined to become a supreme force in providing ideas and suggestions to the private industries.

Job Profile:

Central Industrial Security Force is inviting applications from the Male Indian citizens for filling up the temporary posts of Constable/Fire. All the posts in different states will be alloted to selected candidates on temporary basis only. Candiates must ensure his eligibility before applying on the specified post. Vacancies will be filled by candidates belonging to the particular state.

Eligibility:

Candidate’s age must not be less than 18 years and not more than 23 years as on 1 August 2011. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC and ST categories. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for the OBC category candidates. All candidates must be within the prescribed maximum age limit.

Candidates are also required to meet the following physical standards:

Height: 170 cms with correlated weight.
Chest: Minimum 80 cm.
Eye Sight: The minimum distant vision should be 6/6.

Educational Qualification:

Matriculation or 19th class pass with Science subject from any recognized board. Candidates failing to have this minimum educational qualification, will not be considered for the post.

SC category candidates: 81 posts are available.
ST category candidates: 38 posts are available.
OBC category candidates: 129 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Pay Band - 1 i.e. Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000. Candidates will also get usual and admissinle allowances to the central government employees from time to time.

Application Fee:

A postal order of Rs. 50 is required to be submitted as application fee by the candidates belonging to either General and OBC categories candidates. The Demand draft must be drawn in favour of the Assistant Commandant of the respective zone. SC/ST candidates are exempted from application fee.

How to apply: Application form complete in all respect must be sent to the concerned Zonal DIG of Central Industrial Security Force. The application form alongwith the required certificates or testimonials should reach to the prescribed address on or before the last date for the reciept of application. All the documents must be sent in an envelope and it should be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE/Fire”.
