Re: Procedure to do CA after completing 10th standard?
Actually it is not possible to go for Chartered Accountancy course after 10th standard. You see the first stage of CA is called Common Proficiency Test (CPT). You can only appear for this test after completing 12th. Although since you have completed 10th, surely you can register for it.
Therefore first step for you would be to complete your school education. Finish the 12th standard and then only apply for the Chartered Accountacy course. Like I said it would start with Common Proficiency Test. You will have to pass the CPT test. Common Proficiency Test. CPT test is conducted twice a year. First time in June then in December. There are 4 subjects in CPT. These subjects have been divided into 2 sections. According to the recent changes you need to obtain 30 percent marks in each section to pass the Common Proficiency Test. 1. Fundamentals of Accountancy 2. Economics 3. Mercantile Law 4. Quantitative Aptitude Integrated Professional Competancy Course (IPCC) There are basically two ways to pursue CA. You can either complete 12th and then apply for Common Proficiency Test or the other way is to complete graduation and directly apply for the Integrated Professional Competancy Course. For direct admission, commerce graduates need 55 percent marks while non-commerce graduates need 60 percent marks in their respective graduation degrees. Group 1 1. Accounting 2. Business Laws,Ethics and Communication 3. Cost Accounting and Financial Management 4. Taxation Group 2 5. Advanced Accounting 6. Auditing and Assurance 7. Information Technology and Strategic Management Final Course Upon completing Inegrated Professional Competancy Course, you are eligible for the Final Course. After finishing it, you will become Chartered Accountant and apply for firms or start your own services. Group 1 1. Financial Reporting 2. Strategic Financial Management 3. Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics 4. Corporate and Allied Laws Group 2 5. Advanced Management Accounting 6. Information System control and Audit 7. Direct Tax Laws 8. indirect tax Laws |
