For any student’s academic career, class 12 plays a very important in deciding his/her future. Mathematics being a key subject in any field of higher studies is thus a very important subject of the Chhattisgarh Board Class 12 examination. A regular practice is required to do well in this paper. However, analyzing the paper pattern and the type of questions that come, help to prepare in an easier way.

Key points to remember for the paper:

• The total marks are 100 and the total time allotted for the same is 3 hours.

• All the questions are compulsory.

• Use of calculators is not permitted.

Paper pattern:

The paper consists of 30 questions and is divided into 5 sections A, B, C, D and E. Section “A” Comprises of 10 Question of two marks each. Section “B” Comprises of 8 Question of three marks each. Section “C” Comprises of 6 Question of four marks each. Section “D” Comprises of 4 Question of five marks each. Section “E” Comprises of 2 Question of six marks each. There is no overall choice, however, internal choices have been provided in Sections B, C, D and E of 2-2 questions and one has to attempt only one of the alternatives in all such questions.
