The new medical graduates have got a gap between their skills possessed and the skills required and this will adversely affect their career afterwards. MRes in Medical Science is a programme specially proposed to bridge this gap. The aim of this programme is to provide a Masters level education to the students and equip them with the skills and knowledge required for the research based studies in medical field.

The programme generally includes of four obligatory elements. They are

• Clinical Master class
• Tutorial/Seminar
• Two full time research placements (including one written project and one final report)

The minimum qualification required is a under graduate degree in medicine from any reputed university. They must not have any backlogs in the previous academic years also. The general condition required by the all the foreign universities is a good academic background of the candidates. Also they should provide the evidence for proficiency in English language.
