The university have been performing a brilliant job when it comes to getting the students in the right track and securing their future. BE is available at the university and under BE, students can study computer science. Those students who opted to study CSE need to get through Digital Logic Design and Applications during the third semester of their course. The exam of the subject is to be taken at the end of the semester.

Digital logic design and application is a subject that has a lot of connection to logic gates and the circuits associated with it. Semi conductor is the base of the subject. Each and everything that the students study in this subject is based on it. Thus proper understanding on the working of semi conductors is required to master the subject.

Setting of question paper

The paper is divided into four sections. The questions in the paper are all descriptive and both short answer and essay questions are present in the paper. All the four sections have to be answered. All the questions present in section A have to be answered. In case of other sections, internal choices are available. The questions include those regarding definitions and diagrams. Diagrammatic questions of various circuits are sure to be in the paper.

Marks and duration

The total mark of the paper is 100. A pass is awarded only if 35%is secured.  Nothing more than 3 hours will be provided for completing the paper.

  • Analysis and design of combinational logic
  • Sequential logic
  • Programmable logic devices
  • CAD tools
