List of Courses in Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana
Punjab Agricultural University came into existence in the year 1962 and the university was established with the objective of serving the state of Punjab. In the year 1966, when the state of Punjab was divided into three, Haryana Agricultural University was formed out the Punjab Agricultural University by an Act of Parliament.
Later in the year 1970, Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University was also established out of the Punjab Agricultural University. In the year 2006, one of the constituent colleges of Punjab Agricultural University named as College of Veterinary Sciences was upgrades ad Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. Punjab Agricultural University is located in the city of Ludhiana in Punjab at about 316 km from the city of New Delhi.
Punjab Agricultural University is offering education through four of its constituent colleges namely College of Basic Sciences & Humanities, College of Home Science, College of Agricultural Engineering and College of Agriculture and the list of courses offered by the university through these constitute colleges is given below:
