Turkish government Scholarships are granted to those aspirants who want to pursue scientific research in Turkish Universities. . The subject for which the research is offered includes agriculture, biotechnology and environmental engineering. The time duration of the scholarship is up to 8 months. The main objective of Turkish government Scholarships is to provide financial support to meritorious aspirants who are financially backward. The scholarships cover areas of housing and tuition fees. The Turkish government Scholarships also covers medical expenditure of aspirants except the case of long-term illness.

Turkish Government Scholarship Eligibility

• The minimum qualification of the aspirants of Turkish Government Scholarship is a postgraduate degree in relevant subjects.
• They must not have less than 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
• The aspirant should be comfortable to communicate at least in one of the languages of Turkish, Hindi, and English.
• The aspirant should free of medical problems such as contagious diseases.
• The aspirant has to furnish the research proposals or the specific work to be undertaken.
• The age of the aspirant who wants to possess the Scholarship must be less than 40.

Application Procedure for Turkish Government Scholarship

Application forms can be downloaded from the official website of Turkish Government. The aspirant has to attach a passport size photograph in the application after filling it legibly. The aspirant has to maintain a separate photo along with the application other than the one that is kept attached in the application form.  Two photocopies of the master’s degree certificate must be kept along with the application. The candidate has to maintain two photocopies of the transcript along with health report. All the photocopies and translations of documents must be kept attested. The validation of these documents should be done by the overseas Embassies/Consulates of the Republic of Turkey. The application form along with the all the documents specified above must reach the Section officer before deadline date. Normally the deadline for receiving this application will be till 30th of April or May every year. Those applications received after this deadline date will be rejected. Applicants have check whether the application forms are filled completely before posting. If it is not filled completely, there is chance for the application to get rejected. Online applications are also accepted. After online submission, the hardcopy of the application along with other documents must be posted to the concerned address.
