Central University of Gujarat came into existence on March 3, 2009 under the Government of India. The university was established by the Parliament vide the Central University Act, 2009. The university functions for its objective of dissemination and advancement of knowledge to make special provisions for integrated courses. The main idea behind its establishment was to educate and train the manpower for the development of the country. Professor Raosaheb K kale was appointed as the Vice Chancellor of the university by Shrimati Pratibha Patil, President of India.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should possess a good academic record with atleast 555 marks in aggregate at the Master’s level in the relevant subject. Candidates should also have cleared the National Eligibility Test conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
