Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Punjab was established in the year 2008 as one of the 8 new IITs which hav been functional between 2008 and 2009. Later, its name was changed to Indian Institute or Technology Ropar. The institute has a campus spreaded in an area of over 520 acres. The institute is located at Rupnagar, Punjab. The major idea behind the establishment of the institute is to enhance the quality of technical education in the country. Total 326 students are studying undergraduation in the institute. Mr. M .K. Surrapa is the Director of the institute.

1. Recruitment of Junior Accounts Officer:

Educational Qualification: M.Com alongwith the knowledge of accounting software is required for the post. Candidates with 3 years experience in internal audit or audit work of central government are desirable for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

2. Recruitment of Staff Nurse:

Educational Qualification: Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board and should also have passed the examination held by the Nursing council with 3 years course in General Nursing and Mid Wifery.

3. Recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator:

Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Hindi preceded by a Bachelor’s degree with English as a subject is required for the post.

4. Recruitment of Junior Accountant:

Educational Qualification: B.Com from a recognized institute alongwith the 2 years of experience in the relevant field is required. Candidates are also required to possess the knowledge of accounting software.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

5. Recruitment of Junior Assistant:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with knowledge of computer office applications. Atleast one year experience of working on computers, is desirable for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.

6. Recruitment of Pharmacist:

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent is required for the post. Candidates should also possess Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy granted by an institution of the Central or State Government or an institute recognized by the Central or State Government.

7. Recruitment of Junior Laboratory Assistant:
