Zakir Hussain Post Graduate Evening College was established as a Madarsah by Ghaziuddin Firoz Jung. The college came into existence in the year 1780 and is therefore considered as the oldest college of delhi. The college was later developed into Delhi College in the year 1825. Mr. Khursheed Alam Khan is the Chairperson of the college. The college offers various undergraduate courses such as BA Honours in English, Hindi, History etc. to its students. Eligibility:

Candidates are required to be within the prescribed age limit set for the post of Assistant Professor in Zakir Hussain Post Graduate Evening College.
