International institute of hotel Management conducts an entrance exam called International Institute of Hotel management Combined Hospitality Aptitude test (IIM E-CHAT) for the selection of best students for the Hotel Management courses. Structure of IIHM E-CHAT

The selection of the candidates for the Hotel Management Courses is on the basis of Aptitude Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. IIHM E-CHAT is an entrance exam consists of objective type questions. It consists of 200 questions. The time duration of the test is three hours. The written test consists of questions to evaluate the candidates’ skills in English Language, General Awareness, Reasoning skills and General Aptitude. Each question consists of four options. The candidates’ have to select the right answer. One mark is reduced for each incorrect answer. The candidates who clear the written test will have to attend the group discussion. Those who qualify on both the written test and group discussion will be called for a personal interview. Those who passed all this tests will be eligible for getting admission in IIHM.

Eligibility Criteria for IIHM E-CHAT

The candidates who have passed their plus two exam in any stream can apply for the International Institute of Hotel Management Combined Hospitality Test. The age limit of the candidate must be between 17 and 25 years. The final year students can apply for the test but they have to accomplish all the education requirements before the time of admission.

How to Apply for IIHM E-CHAT?

The application form and information bulletin is available from the official website of the IIHM www.iihm.org.in.The candidates can obtain the application form through post by forwarding a request letter and a Demand Draft of admission fee to the IIHM University office. The candidates can receive the form in post. The candidates should clearly write their register number and signature behind the DD.

How to fill the Form for IIHM E-CHAT?

The instructions for filling the form should be there in the information bulletin. To avoid mistakes candidates should understand the instructions prior to fill the form. The columns should be filled in block letters. Name, Signature and Contact address of the candidates must be mentioned clearly. Demand Draft of the application fee should be send along with the application form. Correctly filled form and all relevant documents should be posted to the concerned address before the due date.
