The B.Sc. (H), Microbiology paper mainly deals with the various fields and aspects of microbiology. The paper also provides the general relation between these microorganisms and industries. This introduces a major group of microorganisms and also gives detail information about its impacts on our surroundings.

Paper description:

The Microbiology, Second Year papers are divided in eight different sections. The first papers include structure, different metabolic processes and various classes, applications of viruses. The 2nd paper deals with the Physiological processes of microbial organisms and their metabolic growth, nutrition, effect on environment, measurement of microorganisms etc. Next one is cell biology I & II which provides detailed information about composition of microbial cells and its structural information. The fourth paper includes the genetic information of microorganisms.  The next paper includes the enzymatic processes and functions of microbial organisms. The Microbial and Ecology paper includes the topics like decompositions of microorganisms, their different biogeochemical cycles etc.

Paper pattern:

Delhi University, B.Sc. (H), Microbiology, Second Year Papers varies in four different patterns. The first pattern includes a total of five compulsory questions. Next one includes a total of six questions in which one question is compulsory and one should attempt any four questions from rest of the questions. Third one includes a total of eight questions in which applicants need to attempt at least five questions. Last one includes a maximum of ten questions in which one must attempt at least five questions.

Marks allotted and total time:

Generally the Delhi University, B.Sc. (H), Microbiology, Second Year Papers are of hundred marks and the total time allotted is of three hours. The total marks may vary in this second year’s paper.
