Fashion Designing is a booming industry in modern times with lucrative career prospects. Every year a large number of students in our countries join courses related to this field. Annamalai University also offers a course in Fashion Design. It is an undergraduate course of three years time duration. In the first year of the course there is a paper on Textile Design. Textile Designing is one subject which every fashion designer should be well versed in. it forms the basic of the study of fashion designing. The pattern of the eaxmi9nation of the subject is given below.

The exam of the subject is of 3 hours and carries a maximum of 60 marks. The question paper is divided into three sections. The first section consists of objective type questions. Each question carries 1 mark. Students have to answer any fifteen. Thus the total of this section is 15 marks.

Section B consists of seven questions out of which any five are to be answered. These questions are of 3 marks each. So this section carries 15 marks.

Section C or the last section consists of four questions out of which three are to be answered. Each question carries 10 marks. So the total of this section is 30 marks.
