PSG College of Pharmacy was established by the PS Govindasamy Naidu & Sons’ Charitable Trust. PSG College of Pharmacy offers the following courses with affiliation from the Tamil Nadu M.G.R. Medical University, approval from the All India Council of Technical Education and Pharmacy Council of India:

Some of the details regarding these courses offered by the PSG College of Pharmacy are given below:

Bachelor of Pharmacy:

The duration of B. Pharm course is four years and for admission into this course, candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st of December in the year in which he/she is seeking admission. Candidates must have completed their higher secondary education from the Tamil Nadu higher education board or any other equivalent board with not less than 50% of marks. Candidates are admitted according to the rules laid by the affiliating university from time to time.

Lateral Entry:

Candidates with diploma in pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India with not less 50% of marks are eligible to apply directly to the second year of the B. Pharm course.

Master of Pharmacy:

For admission into the M. Pharm course offered by PSG College of Pharmacy, candidates must have completed their Bachelor of Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.

Pharm. D:

For Pharm. D course offered by the PSG College of Pharmacy, candidates must complete 17 years of age before the end of the year in which he/she is seeking admission with any of the following qualifications are eligible to apply:

• Higher secondary with chemistry and physics as compulsory subjects apart from any one of biology or mathematics

• Diploma in pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India

• Any other qualification as approved by the PCI

Pharm. D Post Baccalaureate:

For this course, candidates must have completed their Bachelor of pharmacy from an approved institution.
