Indian School of Mines (ISM) situated in the heart of India’s prime coal belt was established in the year 1926. ISM is now an autonomous institution with a Deemed University status. ISM, Dhanbad Course Admissions

Admission to the B.Tech and M.Sc Tech programmes are carried out on the basis of an all India level entrance exam. ISM is also admitting students based on their IIT JEE score. Admission to B.Tech, M.Tech dual degrees, Integrated M.Sc and M.Sc Tech. programmes will be based on the candidate’s performance in IIT JEE. M.Sc admission will be on the basis of entrance test conducted by ISM on All India basis. Candidates for MBA programme is selected by looking on the candidate’s performance in CAT exams conducted by IIMs which is followed by a group discussion and personal interview and that for Ph.D programme through GATE score or written test and interview.
