Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University is conducting this exam in various centers in Ludhiyana. This test is held for admitting candidates for their newly started B.Tech course in Dairy Technology. This is a four year programme offering a promising career as dairy specialists.

Structure of GADVASU CET- B.Tech

Only one paper is there for the test. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are the three subjects in that paper. The test is objective in nature with four choices having duration of three hours. Candidates need to circle their choice. In the case of Physics and Chemistry each question stands for one mark, while in Mathematics each question carries two marks. There will be sixty questions for Physics and Chemistry. Total number of questions for Mathematics will be thirty four. This test gives exemption for negative marking.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should qualify plus two or equivalent. It should be from a school or college under recognized board/university. They should have minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. SC/ST candidates need only 40% aggregate. Age of candidates should not cross seventeen.

How to Apply?

Applicants can collect green colored forms with prospectus from the office of Dean, College of Veterinary Science, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University,   Ludhiana – 141004. They need to pay Rs.900/- for that at the cash counter. Those who prefer to collect forms by post should send DD of Rs.950/- in the name of the Comptroller, GADVASU Ludhiana -141004. NRI candidates can collect forms personally with the payment of Rs.2000/- or through post with Rs.2200/-. Examination fee for GADVASU CET will be 1700/-.DD of this specified amount payable at Ludhiana should be taken in the name of Comptroller, GADVASU Ludhiana -141004.This should be sent while submitting filled application.

How to fill the Form?

Applicant should send green colored form for requesting admit card. White colored form is preferred for counseling. Make sure of this while sending applications. Columns specified in the form should be completed without errors. Attach photograph on the space present in the form. Attach only recently taken photograph. Documents specified should be sent with white colored form. Applicants should fill their forms personally. Before sending, check the applications are complete.
