Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) is the largest national University in the country providing the aspirants with various higher education courses through distance learning mode. The University has got 22 different departments in several fields of study. The details concerned with Master in Business Administration course from IGNOU are mentioned below.

IGNOU MBA program has 21 courses in all, which comprises of the following.

In addition to these, IGNOU also conducts compulsory courses on Advanced Strategic Management & Research Methodology for Management Decisions and a Project course.

Admission Process for MBA from IGNOU

The admission of candidates to the MBA programmes in IGNOU will be on the basis of score obtained in OPENMAT conducted by IGNOU. The candidates who have completed their graduation in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks (45% for Reserved Category) are eligible to apply for the OPENMAT which is held twice a year. The candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into Management Programmes like CAT / MAT / other State level tests need not appear in OPENMAT.

Fee structure of MBA from IGNOU

For MBA in IGNOU, the course fee will be Rs. 1000/- per course. The fees have to be paid through a Bank Draft obtained from any one of the scheduled banks drawn in favor of IGNOU and should be payable at the city where the candidates’  regional centre is situated. The candidate is required to pay an extra amount of Rs.50/- per course as examination fee which is to be paid through Bank Draft in favor of IGNOU payable at Delhi.
