How to prepare for various B.VSc Entrance exams?

Many Universities and Colleges organize various entrance exams annually for the purpose of selecting eligible candidates for admission into Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.V Sc) courses offered in the institution. The basic eligibility criteria for most of the entrance exams are a pass in the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) or its equivalent exam with at least 45% marks. They should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their qualifying exam. These exams provide an opportunity for the candidates to choose B.V Sc as a higher study option. B.VSc Entrance exams Pattern

The pattern of various B.VSc Entrance exams depends on the University or Board or the Institute conducting the entrance exam. Normally the questions of this entrance exam are of objective type with multiple choices. The questions will be from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The number of questions and the time duration may vary for different entrance exams. In most of the exams there will be a negative marking for wrong answers.

General guidelines for preparing for B.VSc Entrance exams

  • The candidate must be aware of the exam pattern and the topics included in the exam well in advance.
  • They should make a good study plan so as to assure success in the exam.
  • They can approach any good coaching centre that offers classes for entrance exam preparations.

Study plan for B.VSc Entrance exams

The candidate should be thorough with all the topics included in the exam well in advance. The candidate should refer the previous question papers and note down the repeated and important questions. The study plan should be focused to give importance to the tough portions. There must be also some time allotted for revision. The candidate must be ready with all the documents required at the time of exam at least two days before the day of exam to avoid last minute rush. The candidate must leave the day before exam for relaxation of mind and it enables them to recollect the portions covered during study days at the time of exam.
