Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology is shortly called as CEET and the college is working under the administrative control of the Chandigarh Administration. The college is affiliated to the Panjab University for degree courses and the Board of Technical Education of the state of Punjab for Diploma courses. The college came into existence in the year 1959 as Central Polytechnic, Chandigarh and from CPC, it was upgraded as CEET by the Chandigarh Administration. The college holds the pride of being the only technical college offering both degree and diploma courses in the city of Chandigarh.

Admission Procedure:

Admission of students to the Bachelor Engineering courses offered by the Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology is done based on the merit secured by the candidates in All India Engineering Entrance Examination and lateral entry admissions are done based on the merit in PULEET, which is Punjab University Lateral Entry Entrance Test. Admission of students to the diploma courses is done based on merit secured by the candidates in the Joint Entrance Test conducted by the Punjab State Technical Education Board.

Training & Placement:

The students of Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology have been working with diligence and persistence focus on securing final placements. As compared to the recently established technical education institutions in the city, CCET has shown very good results in educational and extra-curricular activities and therefore many employers are attracted towards the institution for holding campus interview for selection of appropriate talents for their organization. Students of the college are offered with in-house training in latest technologies through the placement cell functioning under its control. The placement cell arranges for facilities like well-equipped Group discussion rooms, facilities for conducting online test, auditorium with a capacity to accommodate 500 students and student-volunteers for making the required arrangements for campus interviews to the corporate firms visiting for campus interview.
