Profile:

Chandigarh Police was founded with the aim of making Chandigarh as the role model city of the country. Intially the population of the city was around 5 lakh people. Chandigarh Police is deteremined to control the criminal activities in the city and also to try to change the behaviour of the criminal minded people and to turn them into good human beings.

Job Profile:

Candidates will be appointed for the posts strictly on the contract basis. The selected candidates will have to perform the wireless operator job on the posts of Constable in Chandigarh Police.

Eligibility:

Candidates must be less than 18 years of age but not more than 23 years of age as on 1 January 2010. Relaxation is provided for SCand OBC category candidates.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to have passed 10+2 with Science and Math as main subjects from a recognized board for applying for the posts of Police Constable.

Posts Available: 26 posts is total is available for the posts of Constable (Wireless Operator)

Pay Scale: Rs. 5910-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs.1900 will be paid as salary to the selected candidates.
