Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology (Ph.D in Microbiology) is a doctoral level course in Microbiology. Microbiology refers to the study of micro organisms which includes eukaryotes, such as fungi and protists, and prokaryotes, viruses and prions.  The minimum time required for the course is three years. The duration may sometimes vary depending on the university opted for studies. Many reputed universities in the country offer this course.
