Name of the Position: Assistant Engineer Trainee

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 34, which is divided between the two disciplines of engineering as follows:

• Civil Engineering – 05

• Electrical & Mechanical - 29

Remuneration: Candidates appointed for the position of Assistant Engineer (Trainee) will be coming under the pay band of Rs.15600-39100+5400 GP.

Educational qualification:

To apply for the position of Assistant Engineer (Trainee), candidates must have completed their B.E/B. Tech /AMIE in appropriate discipline from a recognized university.

Mode of Selection:

Selection will be done according to the performance of the candidates in written test and personal interview, the written test for the position of Assistant Engineer will be conducted for three-hour duration and the written test will have 88 questions, interview will have 12 questions.

Application fee to be paid by general category candidates is Rs.400 and by candidates belonging to SC/ST category is Rs.200 and this fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of ‘EE (HQ), UPCL, payable at Dehradun.
