Corporation Bank has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the position of Probationary Assistant Manager and here are the details regarding the notification issued by the bank in this respect:

Name of the Position: Probationary Assistant Manager (JMGS-I)

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 355, which is divided among the different category of candidates as given below:

• General – 194

• OBC – 93

• ST – 23

• SC – 45

Out of these 355 positions, 09 positions is reserved for Orthopedically Challenged candidates, 10 for Visually impaired candidates and 18 for Hearing Impaired candidates.

Scale of pay: Candidates appointed for the position of Probationary Assistant Manager will be coming under the pay band of Rs.14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700 and other allowances like CCA, HRA and DA.

Period of Probation: The period of probation shall be for two years.

Educational qualification:

Candidates must be graduates in any discipline with from a university recognized by the Government of India securing not less than 55% of aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/HI/VI/OC candidates).

Age requirement: Minimum age requirement to apply for the position of Probationary Assistant Manager is 20 years and maximum age requirement is 30 years as on the 1st of July 2011.

Mode of Selection:

Selection of candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained by candidates on the Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS on September 2011 and supplementary examination conducted on November 2011 and marks obtained in interview. Minimum IBPS CWE Score required for general category candidates is 25 in each subject with an aggregate mark of 151 and for reserved category candidates is 21 in each subject with an aggregate of 126 marks for SC/ST, 141 for OBC and 106 for PH Candidates.

Application fee:

Application fee to be paid by general candidates is Rs.200 and by candidates belonging to SC/ST category is Rs.50 and this fee should be paid through bank challan given in the website of Corporation Bank at http://www.corpbank.com/uploadedfiles/custom/10_52_510_6632044.pdf through CBS at any branches of Corporation Bank, NEFT payment is also accepted.
