Madurai Kamaraj University M.A. in Advertising and Public Relations-Process of Public Relations Papers
This a course for the undergraduate students of two years duration, open in all disciplines. The subjects of primary importance covered are Public administration, financial administration, political economy, organizational character of corporate bodies, administrative bodies and their linkage with the social media.
Importance of paper:
The paper is very important for the future bureaucrats and officials stepping inside the corporate world, the applications of public relations are many. Any organization requires a public relation department which tackles its problems with the customers and the common people and ensures a smooth relation.
Paper Pattern:
The question paper is divided into three parts: part A, Par B and part C. part A consists of all short answer type questions carrying equal marks each. Part B consists of seven questions out of which only 5 are to be attempted with each question carrying 6 marks. Part C consists of two questions of 15 marks each, which are further subdivided and only one of the two subdivisions is to be attempted.

The paper includes topics such as Origin and growth of Indian Principles & Practices of Management, Media, Applied Knowledge, Basic Computer Applications, Principles and Practices of Public Relations, Introduction to Advertising, Tools and Techniques of Communication Language & Communication and Translation, and Computer DTP and Multi Media etc. advertisement copy and its typical structure and its usage, emotional appeals in advertisement and the process of their exploitations, specialty of financial advertisement using examples.
Time and marks:
The total marks are 75 and the maximum time is 3 hours.
