Eligibility requirement and admission procedure:

Master of Technology: For admission to the first year of the Master of Technology course, candidates must have completed their B.E/B. Tech or its equivalent degree in appropriate branch. Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates during the process of admission to M. Tech course.

B. Tech: For B. Tech courses, candidates must have completed their 10+2 with mathematics, chemistry and physics securing not less than 50% of marks and must have studied English as a subject at the 10+2 level. For admission to this course, candidates must qualify in WBJEE or AIEEE examination.

MCA: For admission to the first year of the MCA course offered by Bengal Institute of Technology & Management, candidates must have completed their graduation from a statutory university with mathematics as a subject securing not less than 50% of marks and they should also possess valid JECA score.

MBA: For admission to the first year of MCA course, candidates must have completed their graduation in 10+2+3 format and they should have valid MAT/JEMAT score. There will be GD and PI for admission to this course.

BBA: For admission to the first year of the three-year BBA course, candidates must have completed their 10+2 in any stream with not less than 40% of aggregate marks.

Placement:

Bengal Institute of Technology & Management has a successful placement cell functioning from the year 2007 and during the academic year ending 2011, 176 students of the institutes has so far been placed in top corporate firms like Oracle, HCL, Wipro Infotech, Tech Mahindra, Videocon, IBM, L&T Infotech, Satyam, Infosys, etc…
