Drivers, Drivers cum Pump Operator, Central Industrial Security Force
Central Industrial Security Force was founded on March 10, 1969 under the Government of India. The security force actually came into existence under an act of Parliament. The headquarter of the force is located at New Delhi. The force comes under the control or supervision of the federal Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The force was started initially with a mere strength of just 2800 individuals but later on the strength of the force kept on increasing. Because of an Act of Parliament, the force was made as an armed force of the Union of India. The force is determined to become a supreme force in providing ideas and suggestions to the private industries.
Job Profile:
Central Industrial Security Force is looking forward to recruit eligible Male Indian Nationals on the vacant posts of Drivers (Constable/Driver) and Drivers cum Pump Operator (Constable/DCPO). This is a spceial recruitment drive for filling up the backlog vacancies of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Other Backward Class candidates.
Eligibility:
The minimum age limit set for the post of Trainee Pilot is 21 years as on 25 February 2012.
The maximum age limit set for the post of Trainee Pilot is 27 years as on 25 February 2012.
However, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates who ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1 January 1980 to 30 December 1989. The upper age limit is also relaxable to the Government Servants as per the rules of Government of India.
Candidates are also required to strictly follow the Physical Standard set for the posts i.e.
For SC and OBC candidates: Minimum Height is 167 and Minimum Chest is 80 cms.
For ST candidates: Minimum Height is 160 and Minimum Chest is 76 cms.
(Weight of candidates should be proportionate to the height).
Candidates should also have minimum distant vision of 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction. However, candidates should not have knock knees, flat foot and any other such deformities.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess the prescribed minimum educational qualification i.e. Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board for being eligible for the specified posts in Central Industrial Security Force. Candidates must also possess a valid driving license for Heavy Motor Vechile, Light Motor Vehicle and Motor Cycle with gear. Candidates also have an experience of minimum 3 years of driving Heavy Motor Vehicle or Light Motor Vehicle and Motor Cycle with gear.

Driver cum Pump Operator/ Constable (DCPO): 143 posts are available. (SC-47, ST-127 and OBC-334)
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed salary of Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.
Application Fee:
An application fee of Rs. 50 is need to be paid by the OBC category candidates for filling up the application form. No fee is to be paid by the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. The application fee should be paid in the form of Postal Order drawn in favour of the respective officers where to be applied.
