Criteria for eligibility for NDA entrance exam?


I want to know the criteria for eligibility in NDA entrance exam? I am 10+2 PCM student and i want to join the National Defence Academy and want to know the procedure for the applying for the entrance examination. I am a girl of 17 years. Sorry to say this female candidates are not eligible to apply for NDA Examination.

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year .

Eligibility Criteria :-

~~You must be Indian National OR Subject of Bhutan OR Subject of Nepal

~~You must hold the Intermediate(12th) exam of a reputed Institution .

~~Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply .

~~Girls are not eligible to apply for NDA Examination .

~~You should have a maximum 19 years of age and minimum 16 1/2 years of age at the time of appearing for NDA Examination .

~~There is no upper age limits for NDA Examination .

~~Students must be Physically and Mentally fit according to the Physical Standards of NDA Examination .

I am sorry but you are not eligible for National defense academy. Since only unmarried males are eligible for it.
However id you really wish to serve the nation then you can join Indian army after Graduation or engineering . you can choose from the following options .

Short Commission Service Technical Women
You can Join through Short Commission Service Technical Engineer Entry
The selection Takes place twice in an year. The applications have to be submitted by Feb / Mar and Jul / Aug as Notification is generally out in Dec/Jan and Jun / Jul. The training starts in April and October at OTA Chennai. It is a 49 week Training for Girls

eligibility Criteria -
Marital Status- Only unmarried candidates are eligible
Age limit - The age of the candidate must be between 20 and 27 years as on 1 October or 1 April.
Educational Qualification- the candidate must be a degree holder in engineering

There is also another option for simple graduate and Post graduate girls

Short Commission Service Non-Technical Women
For this the likely SSB date falls in May/Jun and Nov/Dec. The selection Takes place twice in an year. The training starts in April and October at OTA Chennai. It is a also 49 week Training for Girls

eligibility Criteria -
Marital Status- Only unmarried candidates are eligible
Age limit - The age of the candidate must be between 19 and 25 years as on 1 January or 1 July.
Educational Qualification- the candidate must have completed graduation or post graduation from a recognized university

So joining indian army after Graduation is not a bad option either. Since you are a pcm student you can join after engineering as well.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for the NDA exam.

Because girls are not eligible for the NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Service. This exam conducted by the union public service commission twice in a year.

NDA has divided two parts

NDA-I

NDA-II

NDA exam following three steps

Indian Army

Indian Air force

Navy

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Educational Qualification:

The candidate should complete the 12th standard from any recognized state board of india.

There is no minimum percentage required to eligible.

The science stream candidates are eligible for the indian air force and navy.

Age limit:

the applicant age limit should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

There is no age criteria for other categories.

Nationality:

The applicant should be citizen of india.

Gender:

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam.

Girls are not eligible for this exam.

The candidate should be physically and medically fit for this exam.

SELECTION PROCESS:

Written test

Interview

Medical test

Iam really sorry to say this you are not eligible, as per NDA rules Female candidates are not eligible for National Defence Academy(NDA).

Here is the total details about NDA is given below:-

NDA has three wings:-

1. Indian army,

2. Indian airforce,

3. Indian navy.

NDA eligibility details:-

The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised university.

Percentage is not required for this exam.

The candidates age should not be morethan 19 years and not lessthan 16.5 years.

Candidate should be physically fit.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible i.e girls are not eligible for the NDA exam.


Nationality:-

The candidate should be a citizen of india

or

A subject of bhutan

or

A subject of nepal

or

A tibetian refugee who earlier came over indian permanetly.


Selection process:-

Written test,

SSB interview,

Medical test.


Important dates:-

Date of exam:-19-08-2012,

Date of notification:- 05-05-2012,

Last date for application forms:- 04-06-2012.


UPSC conducting this exam two times in a year.

DEAR FRIEND,

Education qualification:Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.

Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

Citizenship: Indian

NDA-I and NDA-II exam are conducted twice in year, because the person who was not able to attend for NDA-I exam, he can apply for NDA-II exam in the same year, without having gap between the education.

sorry girls candidate can't apply for NDA.

NDA (National defence acadamy)
conducted by upce twice in year in
month june and december.

you have prepare your GK knowledge and Mathematics for cracking this exam
by continue practise.

once again sorry to say that you are not applicable for NDA.

if you want to join indian army system you can apply for CDS.

~ you should pass out of the secondary education
~ The candidate's age should be between 16.5 to 19 years only

Girls are not eligible to give NDA exams.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.


There are three wings in NDA:-
1.Indian Army.
2.Indian Navy.
3.Indian Airforce.

You will be eligible to give NDA exam if:-
1.You are an unmarried male candidate.
2.Your age is between 16.5 years to 19 years.
3.You have passed your 12th exam.
4.You have studied Maths and Physics in your 12th.
5.You are physically fit.
6.You are from India,Nepal,Tibet or Bhutan.


The process of selection in NDA is done through three stages:-
1.Written examination.
2.After you qualify your written exam,you will be called for interview.
3.The last step is medical test.


You can apply both online and offline for NDA.

1) Army Wings
2) Navy Wings
3) Air Force

The Eligibility Criteria to appear in NDA exam are :

* you must have passed 12th or appearing.

* your age should lie in between 16.5 and 19 years.

* you must be a citizen of India.

But friend , these eligiblity criteria are only for boys because girls are not eligible for NDA exam. So , sorry to say that you cannot appear in NDA exam.

* you must be a citizen of India .

* Your age must lie in between 16.5 and 19 years.

* You must be unmarried.

But friend , all these eligibility criteria are for boys as girls cannot give NDA exam because there is no provision for Girls to give NDA exam.

Extremely sorry to inform you that girls are not eligible for writing the NATIONAL DEFENSE EXAM since it is only for unmarried male candidates.If you are eager to join the force then firstly complete any graduate course relevantly there are many methods you can get into the defense forces.Once completed you can join through UNIVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME or write Combined defense service exam conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

NDA - Stands for National Defense Academy.

Educational Qualification for NDA:-

• To join Indian army, you should be 12th passed or Equivalent Exam in any stream from recognized school.
• To join Indian Navy, You should be 12th passed or Equivalent Exam in Science[PCM] stream.
• To join Indian Army You should be 12th passed or Equivalent exam in Science[PCM] stream.
• Candidates appearing in the final exam are also eligible to appear in NDA entrance exam.

Age required for admission in NDA:
  • You should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

  • You should an Indian Citizen.

  • You should Unmarried(Male).

HI!
I am sorry to say that girl are not eligible for N.D.A exam.
Only unmarried Boys are eligible for N.D.A exam.
The candidate who pass 12th with any stream and age is in between 16.5-19 year is eligible for this exam.

If you want you can join Indian Army after passing graduation with any stream.

For this you have to qualify the O.T.A exam.

O.T.A is officer Tranning Academy.

O.T.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

The age limit for O.T.A is 19-25 Year.

the acronym NDA stands for national defence academy.
the minimum eligibility criteria for NDA entrance exam is
as follows:
1.academics qualification
>>minimum 10+2 passed or appearing with mathematics
and english as compulsory subjects.
>>your education board should be recognised.
2.age limitations:
>>your age should lie between the range of 16.5 to 19
years.
3.nationality:
>>must be indian citizen
4.you must fulfill all the eligibility criteria.
5.paper pattern:
>>written test:
paper I and paperII
>>paperI consists of mathematics and paper II contains
general awareness inclyding physics,chemistry,english
and current affairs.
after you qualify for this phase ,you have go for ssb
which means service selection board where you will have
to give interview and medical test.

The NDA exam is conducted by UPSC in the month fo april and august every year.
the eligibility criterion of this exam is given below-

CITIZENSHIP:-
You should have Indian citizenship.

AGE LIMIT:-
Your age should be in the age group of 16-1/2 to 19 years.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

Eligibility to join NDA:-

-The candidate must be an Indian unmarried male.
-Should have either appeared for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board
-Should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

The candidate aspiring to join Indian Navy and Air Force should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th level.

Eligibility For NDA


The National Defense Academy(NDA) Exam is conducted every year in the months of April and August by the UPSC..

A candidate can appear for the NDA Exam if :-

>> Candidate is within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

>> candidate has completed 12th from a recognized board (with Physics and Maths for Air Force and Navy)

>> Candidate must be an unmarried male..


I am really very sorry but girls are not eligible for appearing for the NDA Exam..

But,you can apply for Combined Defense Services(CDS) after completion of your graduation..

Candidates appearing for the CDS must have the following qualifications :-

>> Candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized University..

>> Candidate must be within the following age limits :-

> Indian Navy :- 19-22 years
> Indian Air Force :- 19-23 years
> Indian Army :- 19-24 years
> Officer's Training Academy


You will be tested on the basis of GK, Maths and English..

Introduction
Recruitment of candidates to Army, Navy and Air force wings of the National Defence Academy (NDA), is through National Defence Academy Entrance Exam which is held twice a year, generally in the month of April and September. NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). A candidate must be an unmarried male. The course of training is for three years.
The candidate is required to give his preference for the service he wishes to join, however the final decision also depends on the rank he secures in the merit list. The candidate should first decide their preference for the two academies i.e. National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (Executive Branch) . If a candidate opts for NDA as his first choice, he has to then give his preferences for the three wings of the NDA i.e. Army, Navy, Air force, followed by his preference for Naval Academy. Alternatively, if he gives his first preference for Naval Academy, he has to follow it with his preference for the three wings of the NDA.
Candidates who desire to join Air Force Academy must indicate AFA as first choice, as they have to be administered pilot aptitude battery test at one of the AFSB and AF Medical at Central Medical Establishment/ Institute of Aviation Medicines.
Eligibility For NDA 2012
(a) Nationality :
A candidate must either be :
a citizen of India, or
a subject of Bhutan, or
a subject of Nepal, or
a Tibetan refugee who came over to India with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Certificate of eligibility will not, however, be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal.
(b) Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status :
A candidate must be an unmarried male and have attained the age of 16 1/2 years and must not have attained the age 19 years on the 1st January or 1st of July of the year succeeding the year of examination.
Candidates must not marry until they complete their full training. A candidate who marries subsequent to the date of his application, though successful will not be selected for training. A candidate who marries during training shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the Government.
(c) Educational Qualifications :
For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply.
(d) Physical Standards :
Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination as per guidelines given :
Candidates are advised to rectify minor defects/ailments in order to speed up finalisation of medical examination conducted at the Military Hospital after being recommended at the SSB. The undermentioned ailments are considered, common minor ailments :
Wax (Ears), Deviated Nasal Septum, Hydrocele/Phimosis, Overweight/Underweight, Under sized Chest, Piles, Gynaecomastia, Tonsillitis, Varicocele
A candidate recommended by the Services Selection Board will undergo a medical examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers. Only those candidates will be admitted to the academy who are declared fit by the Medical Board. The proceedings of the Medical Board are confidential and will not be divulged to anyone. However the candidates declared unfit will be intimated by the President of the Medical Board and the procedure for request for an Appeal Medical Board will also be intimated to the candidate.
Candidates declared unfit during Appeal Medical Board will be intimated about the provision of Review Medical Board.
The candidate must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease/disability which is likely in interfere with the efficient performance of military duties.
There should be no evidence of weak constitution, bodily defects or under weight.The candidate should not be overweight or obese.
The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. (162.5 cms for Air Force) F
Educational Qualifications
For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status : Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1996 are eligible.
Scheme of NDA Entrance Examination
The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows :–
Subject Code Duration Maximum Marks
Mathematics 01 2-½ Hours 300
General Ability Test 02 2-½ Hours 600
Total 900
The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only. The question papers (Test Booklets) OF MATHEMATICS AND PART "b" OF GENERAL ABILITY TESTS WILL BE SET BILINGUALLY IN HINDI AS WELL AS English.
In the question papers, wherever necessary, questions involving the metric system of Weights and Measures only will be set.
Candidates must write the papers in their own hand. In no circumstances will they be allowed the help of a scribe to write answers for them.
The Commission have discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects at the examination.
The candidates are not permitted to use calculator or Mathematical or logirithmic table for answering objective type papers (Test Booklets). They should not therefore, bring the same inside the Examination Hall.

UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) conducts the NDA examination twice every year in the months of April and August.

The eligibility criteria required for the NDA examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of 12th with Physics and Maths for Air Force and Navy; but any stream for Army from any recognised board.

* Age limit- 16.5-19 yrs.

* Nationality- Indin.

* Sex- Male.

* Marital status- Single or unmarried.

But, after completion of your graduation, you can apply for CDS(Combined Defence Services) examination.

The eligibility criteria required for the CDS examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation from any recognised college or university.

* Age limit- For Navy, age limit is 19-22 yrs.
For Air Force, age limit is 19-23 yrs.

I am sorry but you are not eligible for National defense academy. Since only unmarried males are eligible for it.
However id you really wish to serve the nation then you can join Indian army after Graduation or engineering . you can choose from the following options .

Short Commission Service Technical Women
You can Join through Short Commission Service Technical Engineer Entry
The selection Takes place twice in an year. The applications have to be submitted by Feb / Mar and Jul / Aug as Notification is generally out in Dec/Jan and Jun / Jul. The training starts in April and October at OTA Chennai. It is a 49 week Training for Girls

eligibility Criteria -
Marital Status- Only unmarried candidates are eligible
Age limit - The age of the candidate must be between 20 and 27 years as on 1 October or 1 April.
Educational Qualification- the candidate must be a degree holder in engineering

There is also another option for simple graduate and Post graduate girls

Short Commission Service Non-Technical Women
For this the likely SSB date falls in May/Jun and Nov/Dec. The selection Takes place twice in an year. The training starts in April and October at OTA Chennai. It is a also 49 week Training for Girls

eligibility Criteria -
Marital Status- Only unmarried candidates are eligible
Age limit - The age of the candidate must be between 19 and 25 years as on 1 January or 1 July.
Educational Qualification- the candidate must have completed graduation or post graduation from a recognized university

So joining indian army after Graduation is not a bad option either. Since you are a pcm student you can join after engineering as well.

Physical Standards :

The online applications (Part-I/II) can be filled from 22nd December, 2012 to 21st January, 2013 till 11.59 p.m.

Last date for receipt of applications: 21st January, 2013, Monday

Date of Examination: 14th April, 2013, Sunday

An examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 14th April, 2013, Sunday for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 131st course, and for the 93rd Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 02nd January, 2014.

N.D.A. Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice.

Eligibility criteria for N.D.A exam:-
> Pass 12th with any stream from recognized board.

The Eligibility Criteria for NDA exam,

Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age as per 2013: Candidates born not earlier than 2nd January,1995 and not later than 1st July ,1997 are eligible.

Sex: only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

Educational Qualifications:

(i)For Army wing of NDA: 12th Class pass .

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA: A candidate must have passed 12th with physics and mathematics subjects.

As you are a girl, you can't join NDA
