Senior Technical Assistant ‘B’ & Technician ‘A’, Assistant Hindi, Admin Assistant ‘A’ & Store Assistant ‘A’, Civilian Driver ‘A’, Security Assistant ‘A’, Fire Engine Driver and Fireman, are the positions for which DRDO conducts the CEPTAM entrance test. This test is carried out in an objective type model. These multiple choice questions must be answered in an OMR sheet. Duration of this entrance exam is 2 hours. The total number of questions in this exam is 150.

Entrance test for the job position of Senior Technical Assistant ‘B’ & Technician ‘A’ comprises of questions from General Awareness and General Intelligence. Reasoning Ability and General Science also form part of the exam. There will be 50 questions from all these topics. 100 questions will be on subject related topics covered in the qualifying course. For example one can expect questions from Automobile Engineering Diploma course (basic educational qualification) for the post of Senior Technical Assistant in Automobile Engineering.

Question paper of Assistant Hindi also covers questions from General Awareness and General Intelligence. Reasoning and Numerical Ability also form part of the exam syllabus. There will be total of 50 questions from all these topics. Next section of the question paper includes questions from Hindi and English Language. There will be 50 questions from each of these language sessions.

One can expect questions from General Intelligence, Reasoning, and General Awareness for the entrance test of Admin Assistant ‘A’ & Store Assistant ‘A’. Questions on numerical ability are also included in this section. There will be total of 50 questions from all these topics. Next section comprises of questions on English language and there will be 50 questions based on the same. Last section includes questions either from Hindi or English Language. Selection of either of these languages can be made at the application time and the total number of questions in this session is 50.

Exam pattern of Civilian Driver ‘A’, Security Assistant ‘A’, Fire Engine Driver and Fireman

There will be three sections in the question paper. First 100 questions are based on General Awareness, General Reasoning, etc. This section also includes questions on Arithmetic Ability and Numerical Ability. Next two sections include 25 questions each. In this, first section includes job related questions and the second section comprises of questions from Hindi or English language.
