DRDO CEPTAM stands for Defence Research & Development Organisation Centre for Personnel Talent Management. The written exam for the post of STA-B (Veterinary) consists of two parts: Part 1 and Part 2.

Part 1 consists of 50 questions on General Awareness, General Intelligence, Reasoning Ability, General Science, and Quantitative Aptitude. Each question carries one mark and there is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Part 2 consists of 100 questions on the specific subject of Veterinary Science. The syllabus for Part 2 is as follows:
