Meenakshi College of Engineering offers technical courses at graduate and post graduate levels. B.E in electrical and electronics engineering, B.E in mechanical engineering and bachelor of architecture are some of the under graduate courses offered at the institute. Post graduate courses like MCA, MBA and M.E in power electronics and drives are also offered at the institute. Admission Procedure in Meenakshi College of Engineering

Candidates having completed higher secondary examination (10 + 2) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry can apply for B.Tech/B.Arch courses. HSC course must be completed from any of the recognized board and course curriculum for the same must be as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Those having completed any other equivalent examinations as accepted by the syndicate of Anna University are also eligible for UG courses. Maximum age limit of the applicant must be 21 years. Admissions are done on the basis of AIEEE/TNEA score.

Diploma holders in engineering / technology can seek admission to engineering degree programs through lateral entry. Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination.

Graduates in any subjects can seek admission to MBA degree programs. In order to join MCA, candidate must have completed graduation with mathematics as one of the subjects. Study of mathematics can be done either at 12th or at graduation level. In these cases, admissions are done on the basis of TANCET (conducted separately for MCA and MBA).

Engineering graduates can seek admission to M.E degree in concerned subject. Such candidates must have a valid score in TANCET/GATE. Bachelor degree holders in Architecture can have admission to M.Arch on the basis of TANCET/GATE score. Eligible candidates should submit relevant documents like mark sheets, community certificate, transfer certificate and entrance exam score card at the time of admission.
