Engineering graduates can seek admission to the course on the basis of GATE score or through University’s own entrance exam. Admission Process for M.Tech (Civil Engineering) in College of Engineering, Pune

Engineering degree in Civil Engineering is the basic qualification required for admission. The degree must be completed with a minimum of 50% marks. Besides Civil Engineering graduates, candidates who have completed bachelor of architecture/ planning course also can seek admission to M.Tech in Town and Country Planning. Those who have completed 5 year full time diploma in Architecture awarded by Government of Maharashtra can also pursue this specialization area.

Admission to any of the specialization areas is done on the basis of GATE score. Other candidates interested in pursuing the course should attend the written exam and interview conducted by the University. There will be 100 objective model questions based on GATE syllabus. Maximum marks for written exam is 70 and that for interview is 30. Those who can obtain a total of 40 marks out of 100 are eligible for admission to the course.
