Exam Pattern and Reference Books for RRB ‘Section Engineer (Civil)
Recruitment to the post of Section Engineer (Civil) will be on the basis of written test and interview. There will be 150 objective type questions from aptitude section and technical section. There will be negative marking for wrong answers.
Exam pattern for RRB Exam for Section Engineer (Civil)
There will be multiple choice objective type questions in the written examination. Medium of instructions will be in English, Hindi, Urdu and in the regional language that the candidate had already opted while filling up the application. Questions will be asked to measure candidates’ aptitude ability as well as technical knowledge. There will be a maximum of 150 questions. Each question carries one mark. There will be negative marking for every wrong answer. 1/3rd of the total marks allotted will be deducted from each wrong answer. Candidates will be provided maximum time limit of 2 hours to answer all the questions. Questions in aptitude section will cover following topics.
