Campus Placement Procedure in CTS
Cognizant Technology Solutions conducts recruitment to various posts through campus placement. Final year candidates who are pursuing relevant courses are eligible to apply for campus recruitment. Applicants should be Indian Nationals. They are not supposed to have any back paper at the time of joining. Selection procedure is on the basis of written test and interview conducted by the organization.
Eligibility Criterion
For Information Technology
Final year candidates who are pursuing the following courses are eligible to apply for the campus placement procedure.
- Bachelor of Technology
- Bachelor of Engineering
- Master of Computer Applications
- Master of Technology
- Master of Engineering
Candidates should have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Matriculation, Higher Secondary Course, Graduation and Post Graduation (If Applicable). Candidates are required to have no back papers at the time of application as well as at the time of appointment. They should have good command over written and spoken communication skills. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
For IT Infrastructure Services
Final year candidates who are studying Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science/ Information Technology and Circuit are only eligible to apply. Candidates are required to secure first class marks in degree at the time of joining. They should have good communication skills.
Cognizant Interactive
Under Graduates or Post Graduates in Arts and Science subjects are eligible to apply for the vacancies in this section. They are required to have good computer knowledge. They should have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in matriculation, higher secondary education and graduation.
Business Process out Sourcing
Graduates or Post Graduates who have specialization in any of the following subjects are eligible.
- Arts
- Commerce
- Science
- Business Administration
- Business Management
- Hotel Management students
Apart from this, diploma holders are also eligible to apply. Candidates are required to have no standing arrears at the time of joining. They should have secured a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate from Matriculation to Graduation.
Selection Procedure
Recruitment to the various posts is conducted on the basis of
- Written Test
- Technical Interview
- H R Interview
There will be a maximum of 60 questions in the written test. There will be questions from topics such as verbal and technical sections. Time duration of the written test is one hour. Questions will be in objective type format. Those who have cleared the written test will be short listed for Technical Interview, in which candidates’ subject knowledge will be evaluated. Final selection will be on the basis of candidates’ performance in HR interview. Candidates’ communication skills and behavioral approach will be analyzed in this interview.
