Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology offers under graduate, post graduate, diploma and doctoral level courses in various engineering subjects. Admission to under graduate courses is carried out on the basis of ISEET exams. The University considers GATE score for M.Tech admission. In case of doctoral programs as well as for diploma courses, marks obtained in University conducted entrance exam will be considered.

Admission Process

Admission to Under Graduate Courses

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary course in science stream are eligible to apply for B.Tech courses. They should have studied subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics conducted by CBSE or from any other recognized board of studies. Admission to the course is carried out on the basis of marks obtained in national level entrance exam, Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test(ISEET). Candidates having a valid score card are only eligible to apply.

Those who have completed polytechnic diploma in respective branch of Engineering can also seek admission to B.Tech courses. Candidates who have completed bachelor of Science in any of the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are also eligible to apply through lateral entry. Such candidates will be admitted directly to second year of B. Tech course.

Admission to Post Graduate Courses

Those who have completed graduation in engineering courses with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university are eligible to apply for M.Tech programs. Candidates are required to have GATE score card. Non GATE candidates are  also eligible to apply for this course. Admission to such candidates will be based on the entrance exam conducted by the University. Candidates having professional experience of a minimum of 2 years will be given preference.

Candidates who have completed M.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks are eligible to apply for Ph.D programs. Admission will be carried out on the basis of separate entrance examination. Those who have qualified exams such as GATE/ CSIR SLET will be given special preference.

Admission to Diploma Courses

Candidates who have passed Matriculation with first class marks are eligible to apply for the diploma programs offered by the Institute. They should have studied subjects such as Mathematics and Science as a subject. Admission is carried out on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the University.
