Admission Process

Admission to various courses is carried out on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the entrance test. The University conducts Common Admission Test for admission.

Admission to Undergraduate Engineering Courses

Candidates who have passed higher secondary examination in science group with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate are eligible to write CAT exam. Candidates who have cleared the entrance will be eligible for admission to various engineering courses.

Admission to Post graduate Engineering Courses

Admission to post graduation courses is based on GATE scores. Non GATE candidates can seek admission by clearing the Cusat CAT exam. Final selection will be based on the composite scores obtained by candidates in entrance test, group discussion as well as in personal interview.

Admission to MBA Programmes

Candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate can apply for this course. Admission is based on the score obtained by candidates in entrance exam. Selection procedure includes group discussion and personal interview.

Admission to PhD programmes

Candidates seeking admission to the PhD programme shall hold a Master’s Degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 55 % marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates are required to pass the Departmental Admission Test as part of the admission process.
