Air India Charters Limited (AICL) has invited applications from engineering graduates for the position of ‘Technical Officer’ and ‘Technical Officer (Trainee)’. Eligible candidates below 30 years of age can submit applications till June 17, 2013. Selection process is done through technical group discussion, pre-employment medical examination, and/or personal interview. Eligibility Criteria for Technical Officer Recruitment in AICL 2013

Eligible candidate must be a bachelor degree holder in engineering in any of the following streams.

• Aeronautical Engineering
• Aerospace Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering

The qualification must be obtained with minimum first class marks. Upper age limit of the applicant is 30 years. Relaxation in age is offered for reserved category candidates. OBC candidates can have 3 year age relaxation where as SC/ST candidates can have 5 year relaxation in age.

Other than these qualifications, applicants for the position of ‘Technical Officer’ need to have at least two year’s work experience in quality control and technical services. The experience must be obtained from any of the reputed firm in aviation industry.

For the position of ‘Technical Officer (Trainee)’, one year work experience is preferred. The work experience must be obtained from engineering technical services in aviation industry. Anyway, preference will be given for candidates with advanced work experience.

Selection Procedure for Technical Officer Profile in AICL 2013

Selection of eligible candidates is made on the basis of technical group discussion and/or personal interview. Those who qualify this level will be checked for pre-employment medical examination, where the medical fitness of the candidate is measured.

Applications for the job position can be submitted through offline method. Prescribed format of the application form can be obtained from the website of AICL. Application processing fee for attending the selection process is Rs. 500/-. This must be paid in the form of a Demand Draft (DD) taken in the name of ‘Air India Charters Ltd’ and must be payable at Mumbai. Filled up application form along with demand draft must be send to the address of ‘Chief of Engineering, Air India Charters Limited, Hangar No. 4B, 1st Floor, Old Airport, Kalina, Santa Cruz (East), Mumbai 400 029’ before last date. Last date for submitting applications is June 17, 2013.
