Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) has invited applications for the recruitment of 235 Management Trainee and Management Trainee Juniors. Degree holders in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks are eligible to apply for Management Trainee – Electrical. Diploma holders in concerned subject can apply for ‘Management Trainee Junior’ profile.

Eligibility Criteria for Management Trainee – Electrical

Degree holders in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electrical Engineering are eligible to apply. This qualification must be obtained from any of the recognized University/ institution with a minimum of 60% marks. SC/ST candidates need to have 50% marks only. Those having passed Section-A&B of IE (India) with at least 50% marks are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for Management Trainee – Telecom

Engineering graduates in any of the following streams with a minimum of 60% marks can apply.

• Electronics Engineering
• Instrumentation Engineering
• Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

Candidates belonging to SC/ST category needs to have 50% marks only. Those having passed Section-A&B of IE (India) with at least 50% marks are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for Management Trainee – Finance

CA passed candidates is eligible for the profile of Management Trainee – Finance. Such candidates should have passed final examination of the Institute of Cost & Works Accounts of India/ the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Eligibility Criteria for Management Trainee – HRD

Those with master’s degree or diploma in any of the following subjects are eligible to apply.

• Personnel Management
• Industrial Relations and Welfare
• Human Resource Development
• Human Resource Management

Personnel Management & Industrial RelationsMBA holders in streams of Personnel Management or Human Resource Development are also eligible to apply. Required qualification must be obtained with a minimum of 60% marks.

Eligibility Criteria for Management Trainee – Law

Graduates in Law from any of the recognized institutions are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for Management Trainee – IT

MCA graduates or BE/B.Tech/ M.Tech graduates in any of the streams of Information Technology/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Computer Science are eligible. This qualification must be obtained with a minimum of 60% marks. SC/ST candidates need to have 50% marks only. Those having passed Section-A&B of IE (India) with at least 50% marks are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for Management Trainee Junior– Electrical

Those with diploma in subjects of Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering can apply for Management Trainee Junior in Electrical. This qualification must be obtained with a minimum of 60% marks. SC/ST candidates need to have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks only.

Eligibility Criteria for Management Trainee Junior – Telecom

Diploma holders in any of the following subjects with at least 60% marks are eligible to apply.

• Electronics Engineering
• Instrumentation Engineering
• Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

The SC/ST candidates need to have at least 50% marks only.

Eligibility Criteria for Management Trainee Junior – IT

Candidates having any of the following qualifications are eligible for the position of ‘Management Trainee Junior – IT’.

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
• Bachelor of Computer Application
• Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application
• Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
• Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering
• Diploma in Computer Science Engineering
