Narayanaguru College of Engineering offers courses in B.E, M.E, M.Tech, M.Sc, MCA, and MBA.  B.E degree is given in streams of Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Automobile Engineering, etc. where M.E degree is available in subjects like VLSI Design, and Power Electronics & Drives. Admission to B.E/B.Tech degree is done on the basis of candidate’s performance in TNEA, AIEEE, or IIT JEE. Marks obtained in GATE/TANCET are considered for admission to M.E degree.

Admission Process in NGCE

Those who have passed HSC with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as subjects can try for B.E degree. Pass in 12th class must be obtained with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Students having completed VHSC course in engineering/technology are also eligible. Diploma holders in engineering/technology can join to 2nd year of B.E through lateral entry. The required qualification must be obtained from the State Board of Technical Education and Training or equivalent. Admission is done on the basis of candidate’s performance in TNEA, AIEEE, or IIT JEE.

Those with first class marks in B.E can apply for M.E/M.Tech courses. Marks obtained in GATE/TANCET are considered for admission. Intermediate (10 +2) students in any subject can apply for integrated M.Sc courses.

Candidates having studied Mathematics or Statistics as any one of the subjects at degree level can seek admission to MCA. Degree holders in any discipline with Mathematics or Business Mathematics at +2 class are also eligible. Score secured by the applicant in TANCET (MCA) acts as the basis for admission. Graduates with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for MBA. Preference will be given for candidates who have studied mathematics as a subject in graduation. Admission is made on the basis of CAT, MAT, or TANCET (MBA). Selected candidates can join the institution after submitting required documents proving qualification, age, and eligibility.
