Forensic Psychology is one of the blooming subjects in the field of forensic science. It has its own huge importance in the forensic world, as it deals with some very important and delicate issues. Under the course of master of Forensic Psychology, the mental conditions of the criminals are studied properly. The reason and cause behind the crime and their psychology at that moment is very minutely observed as well as studied under this course. The candidates have to read various kinds of study already done on the brains of the criminals, and they need to apply those principles on their subjects. The various actions and observations are already taught to the candidates that make it easier for them to draw conclusions after observing the behavior and mental state of the criminals.

One needs to be a graduate and should have a bachelor’s certificate in order to be eligible to pursue this course of Master of Forensic Psychology. The degree must be of a recognized institute or university of India.

Course Outlook:

The course duration of Master of Forensic psychology is 2 years. The full course is divided in to 2 parts of 1 year each. After every one year, an examination is held that decides promotion of the candidates to the next part. However there are few colleges that offer this course with duration of 1 year only.

Job Prospects:

There are plenty of job in the market after the completion of Master of Forensic Psychology. One can work with the police department, as well as with various detective agencies. Even defense recruits these degree holders. Apart from this, research options are always available for these degree holders.
