Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) was established on November 1, 1956. The strength of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has been enhanced time to time depending on the increase in work load. At present, it consist of a Chairman and 9 members to help him.
Job profile:
Candidates can apply for the post of Lecturers on the basis of their interest in any particular subject. Candidates needs to have a good communication skill.
Eligibility:
Candidates should be atleast 18 years old but not more than 34 years. Relaxation is also there in the age as per rules.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates needs to have a good academic record and minimum 55% marks in Master’s Degree in the releavnt subject. Candidate should also have passed National Eligibility Test(NET) for lecturers conducted by UGC or CSIR.
No. of posts: Total 1017 posts are available.
Pay scale: Rs. 8000- 13500 will be given as the salary to the selected candidates.
How to apply: Candidates can apply online for the post. Applicant should pay the prescribed fee in any of the A.P. Online Centers or State Bank of India. Applicant will have to enter the journal Number on the website to get the format of Application.
Last date for the reciept of Application is 31 December 2009.
