The head office of PSWC is located in the city of Chandigarh and it came into existence in the year 1958.

Punjab State Warehousing Corporation calls for applications from eligible Indian citizens for the posts of Accountant and accounts clerk and the details regarding the notification issued by the corporation in this regard are given below:

Name of the positions: Accountant/Accounts Clerk

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 62, which is divided between the two positions as follows:

o Accountant – 07

o Accounts Clerk - 55

Pay scale: Pay scales for the positions are:

• Accountant – Rs.10300-34800 plus GP of Rs.3800/-

• Accounts Clerk – Rs.5910-20200 plus GP of Rs.1900/-

Educational Qualification & Experience:

Accountant: Candidates must have secured not less than 60% of marks at the PG degree with not less than three years of experience in the field of accounting.

Accounts Clerk: Candidates must have completed their graduation in the field of commerce with not less than 12 hours of experience in computers from a recognized university.

For both positions, preference will be given to candidates with good knowledge of accounting software.

Age requirement: Minimum age requirement for both positions is 18 years and not more than 37 years as on the 31st of August 2011.
