Admission procedure for admission in MBA
Master of Business Administration is one of the most in demand career option after graduation. Seeing the current trend of the market, in which the number of companies are increasing at a rapid growth and thus, the requirement for specialized business professional also increases. In those circumstances, pursuing a career in MBA proves to be extremely beneficial.
Most of the MBA Colleges as well as Universities conduct a joint aptitude test and the scores of those examinations decide the admission of the candidates in various business colleges. Few of the major national level entrance examinations for admission into various reputed and renounced Business colleges are:
CAT (Career Aptitude test which is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management)
MAT (Management Aptitude Test which is conducted by All India Management Aptitude Testing Service situated at New Delhi)
XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test conducted by Xaviers Labour Research Institute, Jamshedpur)
JMET (Joint Management Entrance Test conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology)
ATMA (Conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools)
In order to get admission in most of the business Schools, that is, where they can pursue MBA, one requires to clear the above mentioned examinations, that too with good scores. Under these examinations, the candidates are passed from three phase. The first phase comprises of written examination which contains objective type questions. The second phase contains a general group discussions, and the third and the last phase is the Personal Interview. One clearing all these phases with good scores is given admissions according to their scores. The one with best scores gets first preference.

Hi, I am Prashant M Surve. Staying in Thane (W) Age 24. I want to apply for MBA. I have clered my graduation with 46% in commerce faculty in the month of March,2007. Currently working with an well known organisation at Chandivali since last two years. basiclly i am working for night shift for the international department as an officer. Working days from Monday to Friday (Saturday and sunday are weekly off). Can I apply for MBA?.
